1978 - At age 23, Toriyama quit his job and entered the manga industry by publishing his first series, Wonderland & Wonderland 2
1980 - Created Dr. Slump, which became serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump from 1980-1984
1983 - The series Dragon Boy was born and later evolved into the series Dragon Ball
